Advancing Health and Wealth through Education and Access
The Fifth Mills Foundation leads a movement to strengthen the health and wealth of the Black community through education, equity, and access — the essential pathways to multi-generational prosperity.
Through educational leadership, policy, and applied research, we advance systemic solutions that transform individual lives and entire populations, building a lasting legacy of empowerment and impact.

The Fifth Mills Foundation is preparing a research study titled“Rebuilding the Black Physician Pipeline: A Framework for Launching Louisville’s First Minority-Serving Medical School in Over 110 Years.”
Conducted under professorship at Hampton University, this study examines how Minority-Serving medical schools have historically expanded the number of Black physicians and outlines a framework for restoring equity-centered medical education in Louisville, Kentucky.
